Very good

Liked: Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean except for fan, a bit dusty. Bed was comfortable. Decor is definitely dated and exterior in need of painting. Disappointed that there were no premium TV channels available. Breakfast had a great assortment and was very satisfying. All in all, it met our needs and much more reasonable than other local places to stay. We would stay here again.

Nice place to enjoy the...

Liked: The view was very nice, and the balcony was so nice. It was great to sit on the balcony and enjoy a coffee or beer.There is a nice bird viewing trail right across the street, and there are some nice local breweries within walking distance. There is a trolley/bus that will take you into town that is just a short walk. The room was big and comfortable.
Disliked: The TV remote kept losing it's pairing with the TV and was really annoying. The channel selections were not as varied as we would have hoped. The bathroom could use some updating: Peeling wall, discolored grout on shower and floors. The beds and pillows were pretty comfortable.
