Liked: Very nice people working there. Great free breakfast! Nice and quiet. Nothing fancy, new but clean and functional.The lobby was decorated nicely.
Disliked: No ice machine on main floor, however I noticed a brand new one waiting to be in lobby to be installed!

Good location

Liked: I have stayed at this hotel in the past. It is conveniently located, with a lot of parking. The staff were friendly,, welcoming and efficient.There are dining facilities within walking distance. It has the usual amenities and is ample sized. The bed was comfortable. The location is quiet. As a solo woman traveler it is secure. It also offers a Continental breakfast with a waffle making machine.
Disliked: Since I have stayed at this hotel before, i should have asked for an upper floor room. I was assigned one without a harbor view, on the ground floor, facing a street and lot. Since Port Townsend is not a high crime area, I stayed in the room but felt exposed. None of the rooms are accessed through a locked entry. All are motel style, accessible to passerby traffic. Again, it was my fault for not asking for an upper level room. Also, the facility seemed a bit more shop worn than in the past stays, which was disappointing. It wasn't as comfortable to set up my laptop and work as other facilities I've recently stayed.

Liked: The staff was exceptionally nice. It was very quiet there. Great location near town and grocery stores. Were very thankful that we could bring our dog. Breakfast was fine. They had good English Breakfast tea instead of just Lipton.
Disliked: It seemed a little tired and could use fresh paint or something. The ice maker on the ground floor was out of order and I had to go upstairs. It would have been nice to have a little sign sooner so that I didn't have to walk all the way to the machine and THEN find out it was broken. We were very surprised that there wasn't a ramp outside the front door for the luggage cart. We had to lift it on and off the curb. What do you do if you have a wheelchair? Those of us with dogs had to stay on the ground floor and there wasn't much of a view.

Comfy stay and convenient location.

Liked: We got a very generous early check in and a decent breakfast the next morning! Nice view of the marina.
Disliked: Maybe a few more pillows.
