It’s ok for the money

Liked: No food at all, bring your own, we brought Kcups for coffee and only had ground coffee maker but no filters to use. Floors were clean but not really clean. Carpet on stairs were dirty and worn, not safe could fall down the stairs. Only one blanket I. The whole house? The heat is not that good. Too many rules for a place for vacation. Needs a refresher. Bring all you need the kitchen lacks supplys.

Clean. Good facilities, Plenty of...

Liked: Good sized town house - we did not even use one complete floor. Good Facilites including a washer and dryer plus all dishes etc. Even an iron and ironing board. 3 TVs in total! Staff were very helpful and nice
Disliked: It is a good walk into town, although there is a short cut through the woods which is not practical at night. You really need a car although the Acadia Park bus does have a stop on the main road it seems pretty infrequent.

A quiet commune with nature.

Liked: We loved the location. It was more remote then staying in Bar Harbor but with much smaller crowds. The drive to Bar Harbor for food was not very long and the accessibility to Acadia was outstanding. There were deer and turkeys in the back yard while I sipped my coffee from the comfort of my private deck. Vacation doesn't get much better then that!
Disliked: The checkout time was earlier than most would expect (9:00 am). There were also some chores that needed to be accomplished before we left (stripping the beds for the laundry, dishes, recycles and trash, etc.) so we had to get a pretty early start in order to meet the early checkout deadline.
