Lovely accommodations! Not your typical...

Liked: When I hear motel and cottages, my expectations are on the lower end. I was presently surprised when we opened the door to our cottage, however! The room was great and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, etc. While we didn't use the outdoor amenities, it was nice to see there were grills and fire-pits along with corn hole boards. Very lovely accommodations!
Disliked: Would have been nice if they were a bit closer to downtown Bar Harbor but I'm sure the price would have gone up if that were the case!

Over priced for some of...

Liked: The room was spacious. There is a lovely beach within walking distance.
Disliked: The shower had almost no water pressure. The bed was obviously old and was very creaky everytime you moved. The main road was close and it was a bit noisy. Overall, I feel.like for the amount of.money we spent, everything should have been more exceptional.

Very good

Liked: You all have done a wonderful job turning a roadside cottage-style motel into a solid property. We appreciated the light-nature of the rooms and small touches including things like a fresh sponge, travel-size dish soap, as well as the obvious attenion to detail when it came to things like the retro refrigerator look, fluffy towels, etc. And, the outdoor grill / fire pit / corn hole etc area was great to spend some family time together. All in all, we really enjoyed your property.
Disliked: Over the course of traveling on a 3-week road trip this was the most expensive property we stayed in. It's somewhat understandable given the proximity to Acadia, yet simultaneously a negative.

Relaxing cabin stay in Acadia

Liked: I like how the cottages were surrounded by trees and isolated from crowds. The area was very peaceful.

Great location

Liked: The location was great. The place was cute and clean. Staff was responsive.
Disliked: The place is very close to the busy street and loud. They offered AC but the AC units were dirty and smelled. The beds were not comfortable.
