Pleasant visit

Liked: The staff was outstanding!! We were there for our grandson's birthday and they gave us an extra hour for checkout so we could get a swim in with his friends. The exterior was very well maintained and the inside was very clean as well. The location was perfect for walking to downtown restaurants and across the street from a nice children's museum. I have only one complaint. The toilet was clearly extremely old. It was so low to the ground every time we used it we felt like we were going to fall down. An elderly person would have an extremely difficult time with them. It appeared to be family run, and everyone was friendly and there was always someone ready to answer questions and assist.

Liked: The stay was enjoyable. The breakfast spread was diverse enough for everyone to find something. The location puts it at the base of a short uphill walk to the city center.
Disliked: I've got a bad hip so the mattress was a bit too firm for comfort. My wife, however, found them quite comfortable.

Liked: The location is ideal from the Bike trail and an easy walk into downtown to eat. The pool was nice and the people working there were very helpful.
Disliked: The hotel is dated and we had a hard time getting the room to keep a reasonable temperature. The thermostat on the Unit kept the room too cold during the day and too hot at light. We had to keep adjusting it up during the day and down at night to keep the room close to the same temperature.
