Disappointing and exhausting

Disliked: Too far from the car park to the room. Struggled to carry bags etc over such a long distance. No help offered from staff.Bathroom towels not changed enough. The shower head came away from holder whilst in use, falling on me unexpectedly and then flooding the bathroom floor. We used towels to clean up the mess expecting they would be changed late that day but they were not. French door comes off hinges and falls onto you. It hit my grandson as he tried to open it. Taps poorly positioned the water jet is too close to the back of sink so there is not enough room to wash hands properly. Room smelt musty. There was a wet patch on floor next to one of the beds which smelt and filled all of room. Chewing gum on bedside stand behind lamp. Plug in bathroom sink not working and couldn’t fill the basin. Overall everything was too far away from each other. Too far to walk from one place to the next. Exhausting and time consuming to get anywhere.

Liked: Golf course is very good and the grounds are lovely , very nice breakfast
Disliked: Some areas of the hotel very tired , and room did nt have air con . Taps did nt work properly and shower was poor

Relaxing stay, but best be...

Liked: Breakfast was very good...food in general was good, varied choice and options (inc the golf club snack bar). The staff were all very attentive and helpful , making the stay very relaxing.
Disliked: the hotel in general was a little 'tired' ..if you don't play golf not a lot to do there (in middle of nowhere)
