Pleasant
Liked: Room was nice, bathroom was clean and bigger than I expected. Breakfast had a nice variety. Beds were surprisingly comfortable.
Disliked: The pillows were not great quality. We would have also liked a side chair in the room not just a desk chair to sit in.

I would definitely stay here...
Liked: It was an easy location to access. It was close to Lake Superior. We were in Duluth MN area for the Grandma’s Marathon. The staff at the Hampton put out wonderful welcome for runners and their families including decorations, snacks and Marathon Day kits with necessities for runners. The beds were very comfortable, breakfast had a lot to offer and the staff were very courteous and helpful!
Disliked: I really can’t think of anything. The bathroom door didn’t really stay closed but that’s probably an easy fix. It wasn’t a big deal to us.

Just what we needed for...
Liked: The room was nice and clean and best of all it was on the ground floor and the first room closest to the exit so it was easy to take my dog in and out

Passable
Liked: Grounds and building were clean, staff friendly, when they were around.
Disliked: Bed was hard, uncomfortable, pillows were soft but hard on inside, all around uncomfortable. And my room view was great except for the one "crack shack" as my wife put it,across the rear parking lot. Dilapidated garage/shed thing at an adjacent house. Small room for the price.

Very good
Liked: Bed was comfy. Employees were very gracious.
Disliked: Definitely not enough sound barrier between rooms. We were on the first floor, and upstairs people sounded like a herd of elephants.
