It was a really nice hotel with a friendly staff.

Liked: It was really nice and clean.
Disliked: Not really.

The people were great, so pleasant to talk to! The room was way more than I expected and because of that I signed up for the HHonors reward points. My family will stay in Hampton every chance we can, and your breakfast is unbelievably awesome!

Liked: The young lady checking us in was very pleasant
Disliked: The pool was out of service, we chose this hotel for the pool - paying a higher price. Nothing noted in the website when we booked the room letting us know. There were two employees sitting at the table while we were getting breakfast. I was working with my special needs daughter, trying to explain to her how the waffle maker worked, one of the ladies yelled at my daughter ! Mind you, my hands were physically on my daughter and it was clear that my husband and I were handling the situation (she flipped the waffle maker handle 3 times instead if once). But when I say yell, I am not exaggerating.

Perfect stop to rest and...

Liked: I used to work in the hospitality industry so my expectations are very high. This hotel never disappoints me! From the warm , friendly greeting, to the sparkling clean rooms and very hearty breakfast choices; it is consistently doing everything right and then some! Also, the location is a very convenient stopping point if traveling by car. We were heading to visit my son in Chicago and we always choose this location as our stopping point to recharge for the night.
Disliked: Its not a dislike, but a personal preference. The pillows are actually too fluffy for us! Otherwise no complaints.
