The hotel was just fine. It was conveniently located to Sonoma State where we had a campus tour scheduled. It was also close to lots of restaurants, which was helpful in an unfamiliar area. We wished that it had had a small refrigerator to store leftovers and things from our ice chest, but other than that , the room was spacious, the bathroom had excellent hot water and water pressure. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of choices including hot waffles, bagels, yogurt, fruit, eggs etc. It was a nice way to start the day and convenient to be able to eat at the hotel and not have to look around for a place to eat a quick breakfast. The lobby was large and the breakfast area large and comfortable. We will choose Hampton Inns again.

Liked: It was very clean, I like to having all the room access inside a secured area. It felt safe traveling alone
Disliked: There were surprise fees. I don't know if that was from booking.com or from the hotel itself. But I had a surprise pet fee of $60 plus a $5 parking fee, I don't feel like the parking lot warranted the safety of a parking fee, and there was a $15 miscellaneous fee that I have no idea what that was for. I feel like paying for a room should cover everything

Liked: Kash and Aurora knows exactly what it means to give excellent customer service!
Disliked: The power went out in the early afternoon and did not come back until early morning hours the next day. We were just settling down for the day to get some leftovers reheated and due to the power outage, not only did we not eat but we were unable to charge our phones or use the amenities in our room. ****We feel we should be compensated for that night since it goes by nightly fees.*****I did leave a message for both GM's to call me and neither did.Why isn't there a GENERATOR?** The older breakfast room attendant was very rude to my partner, who asked just a few simple questions.It was unneeded and very unprofessional!**

Liked: Room was spacious, especially the shower. Room/Bathroom must be newly renovated. Breakfast has good, also warm options, waffle maker etc. Gym is cool for a quick workout. you can also watch F1 on the tv
Disliked: The extra 5$ parking fee per day for hotel guests is not reasonable in our opinion. Also the single-use dishes for the breakfast are not sustainable and we don’t understand why a hotel like this does this.
