At first just the room...

Liked: Close to Mount Rushmore
Disliked: Unbelievably snarky staff. I told them that someone was taking up 8 parking spaces with an RV and a trailer that was on (so obviously not guests), and a separate person was preventing people from accessing a large part of their lot with another trailer, and they did not care. Seemed shady - maybe they were being paid to look the other way. After I criticized them and retrieved my family from waiting so I could park far away, the front desk agent was literally hiding from me. The hotel is also joined to another hotel, Hilton TRU, and it makes parking impossible and crowds the facilities. There’s 1 elevator for 2 hotels, 1 pool for 2 hotels, 1 breakfast for 2 hotels, etc.The whole floor smelled sickly sweet, like worse than old fixer-upper homes I’ve toured, and so did the room. The mattress has no mattress protectors. Sheets on bed were not clean. Not super dirty but not changed before us. A guest stole my waffles at breakfast and I had to make more. Just a weird and bad stay and place. Plus side, it is close to Mount Rushmore. But not the closest. A clean Super 8 would blow this place away.
