Nice hotel conveniently located by Des Moines Civic Center, etc.

Liked: The room was nice and the breakfast had a nice variety.
Disliked: The pool. The chlorine was too high and complaints were ignored.

Liked: Great location for the downtown restaurants and river.

Short stay

Liked: Convenient location. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good
Disliked: Was only there for less than 12 hours. Driving through And stayed for 1 night

Liked: I left my jacket in the closet and when I went back a few hours later, the front desk clerk took me to the room so I could retrieve it. Great downtown location with a nice view of the river. The shower pressure was amazing and water stayed warm throughout.
Disliked: The parking garage fee, would be nice if amount was reduced since don't have other ffee available parking.

Liked: Staff were very unpleasant and not friendly at all, only would reply with a basic short answer to any question. I wouldn’t return to this location

Liked: Pool and hot tub were broken. Staff was unfriendly. Got our bill at check out and they charged us $75 for a pet fee for a small dog, for one night. Good location tho. Breakfast meh.
