Liked: we know it is a special time now, but at least the hitel should offer morning coffee.

A fire alarm going off...
Liked: I liked that it was pet friendly and in the Markham region I needed to be.
Disliked: I was 100% done with this property once 930am came and they slipped a note under our door to inform us a fire alarm would go off all day 9-5. I was not informed of this at check in nor before by message. I had my Dog with me who started having panic attacks from the fire alarm. The employee at front desk had nothing more to say then ?it has to be done, it?s our protocol and sorry BUT ? I paid $200 for a stay that was absurdly disrupted. This owner should have closed their hotel not treated guests in this manner. My husband and I were really pissed off espdcially when all the employee is doing is ?it?s our protocol ? and they won?t call guests to warn them even though there wasn?t probably more than 10 occupied rooms and calling wouldn?t have been hard at all. Will never stay at a Hilton again. I have never witnessed such unprofessional , greedy ( don?t care about our guests we care about the $) Also I have video of the obnoxious alarm, and their ?post ? about it was done in the morning hiding by an elevator . Which doesn?t even matter because someone should have told me at check in and even before check in so I could have made other arrangements

My first bad stay with...
Liked: I chose this property after reading the reviews and because it is somehow close se to where I was going to.
Disliked: I first arrive to the property with my family and at the front door, the ? manager? was like ?hunting? for customers. He wasn?t smiling just staring at us. We went to the front desk and I told the receptionist I had a booking for a room. Things were going ok until the ?manager? came at the reception to ?assist? the receptionist. He asked us how many people will be staying in the room. I was a bit taken aback because I booked a room with two queen beds as I was traveling with my husband, my mom and my daughter. I chose the hotel, thinking that their suites with two queen beds would be perfect for us. The ?manager? said that the rate I was given by ?Booking.com? is only for two adults and not 4. So basically the room is Ok to fit four people but the rate room isn?t Ok. The ?manager? was borderline rude, insistant and not pleasant to deal with. My husband and my daughter tried to convince him that we booked a room that fits 4 people with two queen beds. He said two queen beds do not mean four people. He said he has to increase the rate when four people are using it because of the breakfast. We accepted reluctantly. He charged us about $20 more for each guest. I was so disappointed and felt cheated. I would never come to this hotel again. I will be more careful with ?Booking.com? in my future travel. The breakfast, we supposedly paid an additional $20 per person for is so cheap and badly presented in brown bags that we picked in the morning from the front desk. We couldn?t eat it. We ordered breakfast from coffee shop online. The carpet inside the room smell so bad. I would never come to this hotel anymore.
