Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Seattle/Northgate

Clean and great location.

Liked: The location was great. We decided to take the Light Rail into the city for our day of exploring which was super easy to use. The room was clean and the staff was great. We loved that we were not in the city, but had things we could walk to close by.
Disliked: The price and paying for parking. Figured since we were outside of the city it would have been a little less.

Cheaper than downtown Seattle, but...

Liked: Typical Hampton Inn. Room was comfortable enough and clean enough. One big advantage of the location is the proximity of Northgate Mall and the Seattle Light Rail station. Thus, you could stay up north and still participate in activities in the downtown Seattle area (baseball, football, soccer, shows, etc.).
Disliked: I didn't remember seeing anything about paying for parking overnight, so that was a bit of a shock. The Wi-Fi in the room kept kicking my wife off her devices. The breakfast was good, but the choices were a little on the meager side from other Hampton Inn's we've stayed at.

Disliked: Why do I have to pay $20 to park my car at the hotel facility. I had never experienced anywhere that I stayed that awe need to pay for your parking facility. Observed!

Liked: Clean and secure.
Disliked: The inability to set the room temp below 68 is maddening as the room is extremely stuffy up on arrival. Bed is also hard and not terribly comfortable.
