Pleasant
Liked: Bed was very comfortable, the wifi worked well.
Disliked: Stayed for 3 nights. The day I arrived I found a blue contact lens on the floor in the bathroom. Also the floor in whole room was not clean. The day that I left the contact lens was still there (it wasn't stuck, I kicked it around a bit, but I didn't pick it up I wanted to see if they were going to clean the floor while I was there, it was right in front of the shower entrance, very easy to see). Housekeeping came to the room while I was out during the day but it seems like all they did was empty the trash, make the bed and replace the towels, the floor in the bathroom and also the carpet in the main room was never cleaned (it had bits of gravel and rocks on it). I've stayed here before and this was the first time I've been disappointed at the cleanliness.

Affordable and clean
Liked: Room was clean and fairly spacious. The included breakfast was good too.
Disliked: This is the first hotel I have ever stayed in that did not have a room safe. A room safe allows me to leave valuables/money secure in the room rather than having to carry them around.

Hamptons are usually a great...
Liked: Exceptionally clean, efficient room on the first floor. Great bath products and decent size towels for a change! Wonderful front desk staff! Ease of access to local restaurants.
Disliked: Breakfast was the typical hotel self-serve stuff. Pancakes were tiny and totally awful in both texture and taste ... and they were cold! The egg choice, whatever it was called, was lumpy, and chewy and also cold. Cranberry juice was out and kitchen staff didn't see to notice or care. Dark roast coffee, also, was empty and I had to get a front desk staff to replenish it. Kitchen people need to make a better effort for their paying customers.
