Disliked: I made a reservation on July 22, 2021 for 9/4 and 9/5 and was given a confirmation number and my credit card was charged for the 2 nights. When I arrived at 3pm for check in I was informed they did not have a reservation for me and couldn?t and wouldn?t help me. I showed the confirmation info sent to me on my phone but still no assistance. I had to make other arrangements elsewhere for the 2 nights. I am now out the $261 I paid on my credit card. I don?t think I will every stay at a Hampton again. I was in Bolingbrook, IL for a special occasion and this certainly ruined that for me.

Liked: Hotel was right off the highway and close to our destination, so that worked well. Staff went out of their way to help us with everything we needed. Good people.
Disliked: The pool was not open when the posted hours said it would be, which is unacceptable for a business. If there is a change in schedule, it should be posted so guests know what to expect. I did not get something I paid for, being that amenities were not open as advertised. Worse is the front desk wasn't given the information or power to help guests with this issue by management. They didn't cause this and tried to help the best they could. Why they weren't allowed to do their job and give us the right information I don't know. There was something about COVID mentioned, but it wasn't clear why that was related to the issue. Again, the staff did all they could. The hotel automatically locking down the pool when the posted hours stated it would be open caused some issues and extra stress we didn't need on our trip and ruined it for us, to be honest. I will think twice about staying with any Hilton brand because I've had these type of issues before and Hilton does not care it seems. There are many other options. Also, I think there was some black mold in our room. Could be a little cleaner, but that is a potentially minor thing.

Liked: Bed was comfortable room was good size
Disliked: No room service had to bring dirty laundry down and garbage was overflowing, did tell front desk and nothing was done. Had French toast for breakfast one morning it was so hard even soaking it I'm coffee didn't work

Liked: Hands down one of the best hotel stays we have ever had customer service was great! The man at the front desk was sooooo nice. The property was clean. Breakfast was good. We will stay there next time we are in town.

Liked: The spacious rooms, the parking, the nice staff and the clean room.
Disliked: I think the 24/7 store should be stocked not so the customers can see that it's full but if it's fully stocked it would give the customers more options if they were inside just looking.
