Wow, I was really impressed - the rooms were huge, and very clean. The staff was very generous. Couldn't have asked for a better place. Thank you.

Really great stay. Beautiful historic renovation with a great room for my daughter and myself. We ate at the Century restaurant and it was delicious. Owning 3 restaurants myself I am the worst critic and every dish we ate was really very good. Great staff and overall excellent experience.

Liked: The staff were friendly. I accidently got locked out of my room and they made me a spare key no worries. The room was nice and comfortable and the location was super convenient
Disliked: I wish the breakfast wasn't a prepackaged thing but I get that that was covid-related

Disliked: The staff was somewhat condescending in their tone. When we tried to open our room door the door would give a green light you could hear the lock unlocking but when I pressed down on the handle to open the door it would not open so I went downstairs to talk to the desk clerk and explain she replied well did try the handle up, I said no ma'am door handles go down, she then replied in a snarky tone " well sir this one don't". When asked about the breakfast that went with the room which usually is a Continental style I was informed it was to be a bagel and some boiled eggs in a box. The room stated breakfast and is misleading. Later when we came back in from dinner I asked if we could get some wine glasses as we were celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary and the male clerk said "your not gonna get that here this is a Hampton" , we have stayed at this site about half dozen times and never had theses issues. Another male clerk said they do not do glassware anymore so I went and bought two glasses from the restaurant. When I came back I asked if our 2 pm check out was done which came with the room and that the snarky clerk said she did and was told it was not. The male clerk then said they don't do that for guests that book thru a third party, I told him that I am a Hilton honors member and I did try to book directly with the hotel many tries and when I did get a person they could barely speak English. He then said in a tone remincence of a father " I will do it just this one time" but as a rule we do not do it for third party guests, so I guess I'm a third class guest. This is a beautiful hotel and we live in the metro area and love celebrating special events here but no more the way we were dismissed and made to feel like a bother, not no more.

Very nice hotel!
Liked: Our stay was great, staff was very nice. They allowed us to check in early when we didn?t time our arrival correctly lol.
Disliked: Breakfast was terrible. We ended up having to go pay for breakfast each morning. However, I think this is stinkin Covid thing.

Liked: Due to covid just take out breakfast so I don't consider that as breakfast

Liked: Staff was friendly.
Disliked: No hot water the night I checked in and had to take a very cold shower the next morning. I reported it to the front desk the next day after coming back from my day out and they didn't offer much other than "they believe it was fixed" - It wasn't a great start to the trip but it turned out just ok.
