Disappointing

Liked: Very convenient, central downtown location. Staff were helpful and professional. The room was comfortable and spacious.
Disliked: Downtown Austin is noisy at night, and I was disturbed by loud music / pulsing beats Saturday and Sunday nights. There were problems with the elevators - One was out of service for my full stay, and on three occasions two others stopped working. In one case I had to walk down 14 flights of stairs or be late for a meeting. They need to fix this.

I appreciate the friendly and...

Liked: Located downtown Austin.Very close to local restaurants, bars, Moody Center etc.
Disliked: The bed felt very broken and I rolled over off the bed the first night. Reported to guest services who sent housekeeping to remedy the issue. Housekeeping discovered that the box spring was turned upside down and the mattress took the shape of the hole in the bed. Valet was pricey.

I should have booked at...

Liked: The location, the waffle maker, the pool
Disliked: Most other things. Housekeeping didn’t replenish items as asked, aloof staff, tiny room for a lot of money, long wait times for valet, being asked multiple times if I checked in when I obviously had a room key, the coffee, getting stuck in an elevator. I asked for regular coffee to be put in my room and someone gave me 4 decaf packets. Tbh, that’s just cruel.

Staying here was not worth...

Liked: location met my needs, BF was average, staff for the most part were friendly on duty. BAD bed, lumpy, room hot from the start, TOWELS had brownish stains - you can call it for me - come on THIS IS THE HILTON
Disliked: I expected a call from management, i just got an email thanking me for my input, like this one, and that it was to improve future stays for others - thanks for nothing HILTON

Liked: Great location and walking distance to main attractions, restaurants, and bars.
Disliked: The carpet has an odd smell. I would definitely expect a better level of cleanliness.
