Had a lot of potential...
Liked: Breakfast was sad due to COVID, but we could tell the staff was trying. I did like the jetted tub in the room although the front of it was held on with shipping tape.
Disliked: The window lock to our room was broken which made us feel unsafe sleeping at night or with leaving our stuff behind during outings. The room had not been cleaned up properly after a previous stay and tape and pieces of decorations was left up on every wall. The lack of attention to detail kind of made us feel like ?what else was missed.? The first night was quiet at a reasonable hour and we slept well with the usual ?expected? hotel noises. The second night, the guests in the room next to us fought until 2:30 am. We tried to block out the noise of yelling, arguing, and slamming of doors by turning up the TV, but once midnight came, I called the front desk. I also heard another guest come downstairs from above their room and angrily ask the guest to stop being so loud. The front desk informed me they knew about the situation and apologized the guest was ?ruining our good time.? They were ruining our sleep needed before a ling drive back home the next day. We weren?t having a ?good time.? My wife and I only needed sleep in a quiet, clean hotel where we could feel safe. This hotel failed to meet those reasonable expectations.
