Liked: It was a nice surprise to see a mini fridge and microwave in my room. It was not listed in the amenities.
Disliked: I wish I had known the pool was not heated. I did not enjoy that as I booked this hotel because it had an indoor pool.

Liked: The only good thing I can say about the hotel is that they refunded our money with no problem.
Disliked: I made reservations 3 months in advance of our intended stay and requested either a ground floor or a room close to an elevator because my husband has difficulty walking. When we arrived we discovers that the elevators were broken and had not been working for 5 months. Obviously we could not stay in the hotel and had to find other accommodations after our arrival which was around 7 PM. We were very disappointed and angry that we had not been told in advance of the situation. The only good thing I can say about the hotel is that they refunded our money with no problem.

Our stay ended up great!!
Liked: The breakfast was a nice perk for sure! Lots of choices. Rooms/beds are comfortable. This hotel is close to stores and restaurants.
Disliked: What I didn't like was after having this room reserved for many months and even receiving a confirmation of our stay the week we were due to check in ... BOOKING.COM cancelled our room. It was the night of our daughter's wedding rehearsal, we are exhausted and got to the hotel to check in. The lady said Booking.com cancelled your room. The reason why was my daughter had a few rooms booked for out of state family coming to Michigan. Our names are similar so the lady working the desk at the hotel said Booking.com probably thought it was a mistake. I think Booking.com should have called, emailed, or reached out in some way to confirm before they just cancel reservations! All in all...we worked something out with the additional rooms my daughter THANKFULLY had and we were able to stay.
