Perfect location close to restaurants,...

Liked: Perfect location across the street from all the restaurants and riverfront shopping. Also close and within walking distance to all historical sites. Delicious breakfast served too.
Disliked: Parking fees were $45 a day so we parked across the street at Bryan Street parking garage. $44 total for Saturday and Sunday nights and Monday night to Tuesday. Rates are cheaper on weekends. But max $20/day week days so well worth it.

Liked: The staff was excellent. Friendly, attentive, polite and knowledgeable. The concierge was very helpful in assisting us with some of the local attractions and restaurants. Great hotel location. Bartenders were fantastic. Maybe a couple more liquor options but overall a nice service. We didn’t use the valet service but they gave us a friendly greeting every time we came back to the hotel.
Disliked: 1)The pool area is too plain and has no appeal when relaxing and looking out over the historic or river area. One has to stand next to a solid wall to see over and enjoy the view of the surroundings. ALSO, there isn’t a sign anywhere to be found that even suggested there is a pool. I feel there is such a lost opportunity for that area to be great, especially evening and night to sit and relax and enjoy the views.2)The drop off parking area is extremely small. I had to s-l o-w-l-y back out into the street to get out of the lot after dropping off luggage. A bit dangerous for pedestrians and drivers alike. Not sure how it’s possible to change it since it’s such a small footprint though.3) The noise from the street in a river facing room is very loud. Perhaps some better insulation or window upgrades? It is a very heavily travelled road but we could hear voices from the street from the 4th floor.4) The room cleaning was very basic. There were crumbs on the carpet from the previous occupant that were still there after our room cleaning a couple days later.All this being said, these are minor details but you asked so I’m telling you. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel to others and would stay there again. The location is excellent, the staff also excellent.

Disliked: During checkup hours there was only one elevator working causing long wait times.
