Hampton Inn (not a Hilton Affiliate) Camp Hill - Harrisburg SW

I wouldn't have wanted to stay there for several days because there really were no frills (shower but no bath, sink was inside the small bathroom so hard to brush teeth if someone was showering or using the toilet) and there was no gym or pool and it was on a main road, so really no good way to exercise. That said, we were there for 1 night and got there late and left early because of what we had scheduled, so for a basic, inexpensive, no-frills place to just sleep and shower and grab a quick free breakfast, it was perfect. I'm glad we didn't pay double the price for a hotel that had amenities we didn't have time to use. There was also a nice Mexican restaurant right next door with great food.

Liked: It was very affordable. Nice continental breakfast.
Disliked: No frills.

It was o.k. but nothing...

Liked: It was a roof over our heads, and a bed to sleep in.
Disliked: Well it was old, semi-dirty, had broken things throughout the unit. Not exactly a great value for the money.

Liked: The front desk gentleman was very professional and friendly. The one cleaner I met had a smile and greeted me. The rates are nice, this is my second stay. This location has great potential but cleaning standards need to be higher. Would I stay again, yes, simply because every business deserves a chance to make things right.
Disliked: The bathroom, honest to God, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. The walls were tiled in the shower and along one exterior wall, so you could literally see all the soap scum, water marks. There was tissue/paper under the bed, the microwave was dirty inside. Cigarette burn in the sheets on one bed, then stained sheets on the second bed. I mean you the price was low, but a little TLC never hurt anyone.

Liked: Location was good breakfast wasn't bad they had a decent variety of breakfast items
Disliked: Air conditioner was noisy and didn't keep up with keeping cold room was damp and carpet was sticky

Liked: The location was great for my business meeting! The linen was clean,I appreciate the fridge and microwave!
Disliked: The room was smelly and dated! The caulking in bathroom as well as the peeling wallpaper has to go! The carpet needs cleaning and sanitized!
