Room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was easy to find and close to shopping and venues. We would choose this hotel again!
Liked: Excellent Hotel.
Disliked: Pool was nice but could use a few more lounge chairs for a hotel of that size.

I found that this hotel provided poor customer service, except for Richard, by even having to offer a customer (my family and me) with a confirmed non-smoking room reservation, an "ozoned" room. We will not consider staying at this hotel again, nor recommend it. I am hopeful that Hampton Management will be able to remedy these concerns for future customers, so that they will not experience the same disappointments.
Liked: Richard. He tried his best to meet my family's needs in finding a true non-smoking room, but to no avail. It's sad that earlier Hampton workers had left him in this situation - to try to accommodate unhappy customers at midnight. He really tried his best!
Disliked: I was very disappointed upon arrival to the hotel to find that the non-smoking room that was confirmed for my family and me was not a non-smoking room, but an "ozoned" room. The man who waited on me tried very hard to find a real non-smoking room for me, but could only find another ozoned room. Unfortunately, after driving a good part of the day and attending the concert at Farm Bureau Live, my family was exhausted and it was uncertain that we would be able to find a room for the night at another hotel, so we stayed in the "ozoned" room. The next morning, our clothes reeked of smoke. For someone who has asthma, this was not a pleasant experience. When we went to receive the complimentary breakfast, there was minimal food selection, packed with people and minimal seating (we sat outside, on seats we wiped off from the rain, under an umbrella). When I checked out, the lady at the desk didn't even ask how my stay was and did not give me a receipt. We were very disappointed in our stay at this Hampton, which has not been the norm. All of our many other Hampton experiences have been great!

Meh
Disliked: Facilities were run down, obvious signs of half assed repairs in the rooms. Pull out bed was painful to sleep on.

Good stay, but disappointed that...
Liked: Flexibility and friendliness of the staff
Disliked: The pull-out bed was not set up when we arrived at midnight. Otherwise, the staff would have realized it was broken and could not be used. So we had to wait for them to come to our room and move us to another. We were very tired, having driven from NYC that afternoon.

Great location! Comfortable enough for...
Liked: I was in the area for a family reunion. We were able to get to all of the places we were going pretty easy. Loved that it was so close to a lot of different things.
Disliked: Rooms could use an upgrade. The window shade was barely hanging on and had to be rigged when I waanted to get some natural light. Some updated furniture would be nice.

Misleading
Disliked: I was not told I needed to leave an deposit on the room. I was always told in fact that using booking.com I never had to leave a deposit. That’s WHY I use them. The hotel contacted me twice to check and see if I needed anything. Never mentioned this fee. Even when I told them when I would be checking in, no one told me. So a small woman traveling alone is now forced to chose between getting her kid a Halloween costume or paying this fee I’m being forced into. The money for the room was already taken so I couldn’t go anywhere else. I feel robbed and will NEVER stay at a Hampton inn again.

Pleasant
Liked: Staff were friendly and accommodating. Pretty typical Hampton and we have stayed in many.
Disliked: Facility seemed dated and in need of updating. Carpets worn and some lampshades in our hallway were torn and hanging on one side due to damage. Could not rais or lower wndow shade in room because of poorly operating mechanism. Property needs attention.
