Very Disappointed unpleasant stay
Liked: We love the Hampton, book every trip we can, but this one was a little different, the staff was somewhat pleasant until checkout staffer was inattentive and rude, room was too cold without a way to regulate temperature had to keep turning it off to warm up, trash was left in room other then that room was very clean, hot water did not work. breakfast for the Hamptons was horrible we stayed for the value, next time I will pay extra and stay at another one.
Disliked: Room Temp uncontrollable. no hot water, breakfast was a disappointment, staff can be more helpful and attentive.

I will think twice before...
Liked: Cameron was awesome and helpful. Texting to communicate with the front desk was fabulous. The coffee was really good. Every single staff member was helpful, kind, and went out of their way to be friendly.
Disliked: Hallways had no AC on our floor, the pool was out of order, the first room had a wet carpet from the AC, the second room they sent us to the tv didn't work.

Liked: Not much too enjoy, but close to the hospital for my back surgery.
Disliked: The first room we were given had not been cleaned at all, dirty wet towels on the floor sodas and food all over and the bed and furniture were a mess. The next room we received had dirty pillows wads of hair all over the carpet and the drain cover in the shower was open.

Terrible experience, not worth the...
Liked: All the breakfast and maintenance staff couldn’t have been more helpful.
Disliked: What a disappointment our stay at Hampton Inn Memphis 8 June 2025. The first issue was that the pool wasn’t open when the booking details said it was open all year round. We could have stayed in much cheaper accommodation but specifically wanted a pool.I then found there was no refrigerator in our room. A major issue as my husband has temperature sensitive medication. Fortunately our travelling companions had a fridge in their room. The receptionist was unable or reluctant to help with either of these issues. She told me I booked the wrong room! It was quite obvious from the empty car park that other rooms were available.When I discovered the carpet in our room was wet I decided it was pointless to raise this as every other concern had been ignored.The following morning we were only able to get a cold shower.Then, as we were checking out I told the receptionist that someone had dropped items out of their luggage in the porch area. She did not look up just said OKay. Other issues include our thermostat not working and dirty corners in the bathroom. My friends room had a trip hazard (a ripped carpet) at the door and the noisiest air conditioner.

Liked: There was nothing I liked about this hotel I was attracted to the location however if I would have known the hotel was this horrible i would have never stayed there
Disliked: The service was horrible the cleanliness was horrible the bed was hard as a rock the whole experience was disappointing I ALSO CALLED CORPORATE TO COMPLAIN AND THEY ACTED LIKE ALL THEY WOULD JUST DISCONNECT WITH ME AFTER TELLING ME TO WAIT DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL

Liked: The location was okay
Disliked: The a/c was broken. They couldn’t give us another room. The next day they said we could checkout without paying the second night (we stayed just one night). But they didn’t refund the second night. When I called to ask why, the manager hung up on me. Never got my refund despite about a dozen calls.
