Thanks for allowing us to stay
Liked: Happy we made it safe was able to rest after a long drive.
Disliked: I was called concerning my booking while driving from DC to the hotel. Not a friendly conversation when I booked I called the hotel to explained I had put four rooms on hold through booking.com with the option pay at the property, that each person will pay for there own rooms when we arrive, I made sure to give the hotel advance notice before our arrival . We came down for a family cruise with 11 children. I was told when I called its okay no problem. But after receiving a nasty phone call telling me if we dont reach them at 6 pm they will be cancelled. I explained the drive was a long one and we might be a little late. This was so disappointing being told we had to rush. The only good part about this was we got there just in time. I book with this hotel all the time never experienced any type of phone call like this yelling at me telling me they going to contact booking.com to cancel our rooms if we didnt arrive by six. The phone call was to get the other four people credit cards to pay for our rooms in advance because the card I put them on hold with declined the deposit. I never had this issue with this hotel out off all my booking. I was so stressed about the issue I spoke with the manager on duty when we arrived she explained she hard the conversation and apologized for being yelled at by an employee. If you believe thats how a paying guest whom have been booking at your hotel should be treated then your employee should be awarded for having people to rush to arrive on time anything could have happened to us trying to get there but she was not concerned with that even do I tried to explain we was coming and on our way. Very unhappy how I was treated on the phone on our day of arrival.

Hampton was my go to hotel but questioning that now based on this visit.
Liked: Room was clean. Decent breakfast. Nice staff.
Disliked: Room has bugs. Found dead roach in sink. Two small bugs, I assume roaches in the bathtub. Felt bugs crawling on my arm at night when I was in bed. I assume those were roaches as well.

Nice relaxing place
Liked: Friendly staff, clean room and nice bed.
Disliked: Limited healthy options for breakfast. Would like to see wholemeal bread options, museli rather than high sugar granola, natural/greek yoghurt rather than high sugar flavoured yoghurt. Less salty/processed hot meat option.
