Liked: The hotel is close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. The evening clerk was extremely nice and helpful.
Disliked: The clerk who checked me in was not friendly at all. In the first room I was sent to, the sheets were dirty.and it looked like someone had already slept in the bed. I was given a second room, and although the sheets looked much better, I was disappointed that the duvet AND the insert needed to be cleaned. The Hampton Inn is the most expensive hotel in the Martinsville area and the average charge for a room is $180 per night, and often goes above $200, I can, and have booked hotels in large suburban areas for less and they are 4, sometimes 5 star hotels. I expect more from the Hampton Inn, especially for the price they are charging.

Liked: The location was perfect for our planned trip. Loved the breakfast and the friendly staff
Disliked: Unfortunately, one of our keys didn't work, so we had to run back down for that. Then we find out the sheets we're soiled. The plus side, your staff was extremely quick in fixing the issue.

Best hotel in Martinsville!

Liked: Great hot breakfast, clean room, nice employees!Also liked the free snack table!
Disliked: The temperature control was not good. Would put on heat but then afterwards cold a/c fan blowing & unable to adjust or turn off.
