I was very pleased with my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the continental breakfast the next morning. The location was great for being close to the fairgrounds where I attended an event. The only downside was getting back to the hotel late, there were not any food establishments close by.

Liked: The hotel was in very close proximity to the Jackson County Fairgrounds where I attended a concert event. The staff was courteous and helpful. The pool was a nice addition.
Disliked: Not close to any food establishments and only had a vending machine and continental breakfast.

Not up to Hampton Inn...

Liked: The breakfast wasn’t good, less then warm but not cold; wasn’t up to Hampton standards
Disliked: Everything, the elevator you stuck to the floor; there was an odor in the motel, someone had thrown cans and bottles in the hallway; I didn’t feel safe…. The breakfast wasn’t up to par; no meat… eggs were nasty, looked like the were broke into a ring mold and cooked…. Just a bad experience.

Disliked: The elevator was not working every day, I missed getting housekeeping one day, the vacant restaurant on the property in front of the motel is very run down with graffiti all over the building and is a major eyesore. While this is not Hampton Inn’s property, pressure needs to be put on the city to clean it up. The pool was closed part of the time and looked like it had something all over the top of the water. The carpet in my room had a large stain on it in front of the chair and ottoman. Compared to most Hampton Inn’s it fell below the usual standard.
