I was very pleased with my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the continental breakfast the next morning. The location was great for being close to the fairgrounds where I attended an event. The only downside was getting back to the hotel late, there were not any food establishments close by.

Liked: The hotel was in very close proximity to the Jackson County Fairgrounds where I attended a concert event. The staff was courteous and helpful. The pool was a nice addition.
Disliked: Not close to any food establishments and only had a vending machine and continental breakfast.

Too funky smelling

Liked: Not much.
Disliked: Room had a funky smell. Bed was not comfortable.

Liked: Other then that it was great
Disliked: There was a cap on the floor between the night stand and the bed. So really how well was cleaned???? The front desk person was clearly new so it took her a while to fix the payment method

Liked: The staff member when we checked in was super friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel had a wedding party but she made sure that we weren't close to them.
Disliked: Good stay... no complaints at all.

I stay at the Hampton...

Liked: Nothing...when my family arrived at the hotel I was told I needed to wait because I was too late arriving, when I clearly stated when I booked the room I'd be there around 1am to 2am. But I was told I couldnt check in for about 15min, so the worker could run an audit or something like that. I wasnt happy but we waited..... although I was a bit late I did arrive about 2.10am.
Disliked: After waiting 15min for something the employee called an audit, after driving 5 hours, My family was let into the building. As we started checking in the employee realized my booking was now marked a no-show when in fact I was there. Must have been the system she ran first instead of checking us in. So she had to call her boss, by now it's about 240am and we have been waiting for 25min already she speaks to her boss and try's to fix the booking because I already paid for the room then was marked a no show, so the unfamiliar 3rd shift worked wasnt sure how to fix it. She was advised to just booked me for the next day and they will fix it when they arrive in the morning. So that's what she did, as she was finishing up the computer portion she is trying to give us our key cards and conveniently the machine was down so she had to walk us up to our room and open the door. At this point already irritated and I wanted a key card but it was about 3.30am and we were tired, we already drove a long way and now it took over an hour to be checked in, there was a couple ppl in line behind us as well who ended up going elsewhere. But I was frustrated bc we still needed to retrieve the rest of our belongings from the car and no key card. But we got our stuff anyways and at about 4am they key cards were made and brought up to our door... along with a sack breakfast. Thank you for that. Before we checked out the next day we were getting ready and my 1yr old son was also with us and he ended up finding some very inappropriate items under the bathroom sink ledge. The manager on duty was advised and she took care of the issue right away, I wasnt even able to tell her how terrible my check in was.

Liked: Room clean
Disliked: No pool no breakfast, no discount for not having services offered. Didn't accept AARP's or senior discount. Rates rather high for services received
