Confusion between booking.com and the...
Liked: The hotel was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful once we arrived to the location. There was some confusion with changing our check-in date.
Disliked: There is a disconnect between booking.com and the hotel. I needed to change the check-in date for my booking from April 12th to April 13th. I sent a message to the property through the app. However the property has 48 hours to respond. My check-in date was for the next day so I couldn't wait 48 hours for them to respond. I tried the messaging option for customer service. The app was not working correctly. I called the hotel per the guidance on the app (twice). The staff said they could not find my reservation the first time I since the reservation was through booking.com that I needed to call their customer service. I called a second time because I could not find a number for booking.com. I explained that I was trying to change mt check-in date, that I could not locate an 800 number for booking.com on booking.com's website, and I asked to speak to a manager to see if they could help thinking maybe they would be more helpful than the person who answered the phone. The manager would not come to the phone. The message relayed to me was call booking.com. Ok. Booking.com. You guys need to make your customer service phone number more accessible on your app. I could not find it. The chat was not working. I was at my wits end trying to get help from the hotel staff. Thanks to Google I was able to find an 800 number for your customer service. I spoke with a very helpful agent who contacted the hotel and got permission from the hotel to change the check-in date.All is well. Right?NO!!!We arrive at the hotel on our new check-in date of April 13th. The hotel doesn't have a changed reservation for us. They explained that booking.com never sent them the new reservation information. I showed them the confirmed changed reservation on my phone. However. They said they still didn't have it in their system. They updated their system and our reservation was then reflected in their system.This was too much to go through. . .

In general: excellent!
Liked: Location was ideal for me. I was impressed by the information and updates that were provided to me after I had made my reservation. The hotel itself was very well appointed extremely clean pleasant. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The staff made an accommodation for me to have access to the Fitness area Prior to their normal hours. I suppose my only complaint, and it is a very small one is that they ran out of the types of breakfast items that I was inclined to eat

Not the Best Hampton Around
Liked: The 24-hour coffee and tea bar was a nice touch, but the breakfast was the real star of the show. Not only was the food hot and fresh, but it was open until 10 a.m., which was great.
Disliked: Unfortunately, everything that I didn't like about our stay had to do with the room itself. First, the bathroom has a shower with only half of a wall. There is no curtain or door to speak of, just a transparent glass wall that is about half the length of the shower. Also, the bathroom door doesn't lock. This is because it shares a door with the closet outside. Slide to the right, and the bathroom is "closed," slide to the left, and congratulations, your closet is closed.Next comes the bed. Ours was extremely broken to the point of it being scary to roll over and turn off the light. It was very unstable, and every little movement caused the whole thing to groan like an aging Ent.Lastly, the TV. It was honestly the worst TV you could possibly purchase, even when it first came out 15 years ago. Terrible picture, worse sound, and zero smart capabilities. It honestly felt like I was staying in a motel circa 1997 at times, but hey, it had HBO...
