Liked: The hotel contacted us to advise there had been a burst waterline but they were still open for business but there would be some construction going on . Was very impressed . This did not have any negative impact on our stay

Water leak in 1/2 the...
Liked: The night prior to our arrival the water sprinkling system for the building had a major leak. All 4 floors in half of the hotel flooded. When we arrived we were told & there were fans everywhere!!! We got the dry end & it was fine.Not moldy or smelly at all! & I?m extremely sensitive to odors so this is really a positive review!

Liked: Clean, pet friendly, good breakfast, and nice rooms! Staff very accommodating.
Disliked: Not too much to do besides The Ark. Strip mall was virtually empty.

We have stayed at better...
Liked: Breakfast was ok
Disliked: The amount we paid- the parking was terrible- Staff wasn?t as friendly as other Hampton inns we stayed at- room was dirty-

Disliked: Access to the side door they told us to use wouldn't open with our key card. There is an additional $50 charge on my card I'm not sure why. It is a pending charge so if it goes through I will follow up.

our stay was comfortable
Liked: The hotel was clean, breakfast was very good. it was nice to see someone cleaning the stairway.
Disliked: there is always room for improved room inspections and cleanliness. bedding and pillows could be fresher looking and pillows looked worn out. limit a floor and certain rooms for pet owners. my first room was clean but had some fleas. we were put in another room and that seemed to be fine.

Kentucky Get Away
Liked: Staff was friendly and accommodating. The towels were very clean.
Disliked: The facility was older and definitely not up to Hampton standards. Very disappointing. First room (309) was a handicapped room. It had mildew/mold in shower. Water would go everywhere and not drain properly. There wasn't anywhere to put your products while in shower, the seat attached to the wall would not fold up, no where to hang your towel except on handrails. Plus, there was no mirror outside the bathroom. I found this room very unfriendly for a non-handicapped person let alone for a handicapped person. The bed had body weight impressions on both sides...just used and old. We got switched to room 219 for the next night. It was clean and everything was in order but the beds are old.
