After speaking to a couple of others at the hotel, we found out that the manager was contacted about the elevator around 7:30pm that night. When we arrived at the hotel around 8:45pm, we walked into the hotel and went directly to the elevator. There was no sign on it saying not to use it. We got in, pushed the button and it immediately got stuck between floors. We pushed the alarm and the call buttons inside the elevator and none of them worked. We then began to bang on the door. The elevator repair man was still on the premises from the earlier incident. Others outside the elevator contacted him and he worked for several minutes until he was able to pry the door open and allow us to jump down out of the elevator onto the floor below at which time we carried our bags up the steps to the third floor. I made a complaint at the front desk the next morning when we checked out. The man at the desk said there would be a refund of our money for that night's stay, but I have not seen anything yet. The issue that really bothered me was that there were no signs or communication to the visitors that the elevator was not working. I think it is very unprofessional and disrespectful to visitors to have no regard for their safety. I am expecting an email or a phone call within the next day or I will be calling to make a complaint to the next highest person in charge.
Liked: The room was clean.
Disliked: We got stuck in the elevator after a long day at a dance competition. I was with my thirteen year old daughter who became very panicked when we got stuck.

Would definitely stay again.
Liked: We had Amanda check us in. Our room air conditioning was not working properly and it was almost 100 degrees outside. I explained to Amanda about the issue and she never hesitated for a second to say " well, we cant have you in a hot room". She was so very kind and put us in another room. Great customer service, Amanda! Our room.and stay were perfect.

Superb
Liked: The bed was one of the best we've slept in, in the various trips we've taken.I have mobility issues, and the bed and bathroom were appropriate to meet my needs.
Disliked: This is a suggestion and not a dislike. There are a number of grab bars that can help facilitate movement. If another was added above the toliet paper this would help with getting up and/or balancing.

Liked: Breakfast was good in the am. Room was a good size.
Disliked: Bathroom light above sink did not work and both table lamps did not work. Pillows were small for a king size bed. Remote did not work for tv. No hair dryer.

Terrible
Disliked: Charged for an extra night, room was dirty no working fridge, transferred to a cleaner room - no working fridge. Everyone’s food went bad in the middle of the night because the fridge went out. No clean towels, neighbors got kicked out because they also wanted towels. Door in our room was open when we were gone. Most staff was nice but others were not.

Terrible
Liked: The only thing I like was the bed. It was confortable.
Disliked: Almost everything about our stay was bad, starting with the customer service we received from all the clerks we interacted with. The elevator was malfunctioning, the room we were assigned had a broken toilet and broken fridge. I had to wait for more than 30 minutes for the clerk to appear so we could get another room. He had a sign saying that he was assisting another customer, but he was in the office all the time. We did not have enough towels for our family of four, only two towels were available. Our request for more towels was denied, because they did not have more towels. When checking out the clerk was as terrible as the one that check us in. They all need customer service training asap. The location of this hotel also seems dangerous, I would stay away from there. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
