Pet Policy is sneaky, slimy...

Liked: The location was easy to find and the room was clean. I had such an off putting experience with the Pet Policy at check-in it was too easy to find fault with things that I might have excepted otherwise. It was away from the main road and an easy walk to the Outback Restaurant as well as a few other fast-food restaurants. There was a shopping mall across the busy main road.
Disliked: The lack of transparency in regard to their Pet Policy was awful. I always make a Special Request to note that we travel with our 10 lb. Yorkie and the only acknowledgement was of our check-in time. The clerk was surprised we had a dog and told us there was a "high charge for pets". My husband had me come in to find out it was $75.00. That is the most we have ever been charged for a pet and I think it is excessive. The rooms had several areas of damage to wall paper and furniture and the breakfast buffet was slim and poorly stocked. I had to ask for butter, napkins and a spoon!

Disliked: The lot was crowded and loud music bein played. Would not have minded if it was a leisure trip but needed sleep for a early morning meeting. Had a trailer and there was no place to park. Could not stay there. Had to go to another place.

Liked: Other than my check in receptionist, everyone was very hospitable and welcoming.
Disliked: My check in receptionist was not very friendly; he was rather rude and judgemental towards me.

Liked: The room was large and set up very comfortably
Disliked: The tv could have been larger and the shower head was terrible, only a steam of water coming out the center. I did inform the front desk at check out so hopefully it gets charged

Disliked: The room was terrible. Peeling wallpaper in bathroom, broken tiles. Not worth the price. I was also charged incidentals PER NIGHT which I have never been charged per night for a hotel like this.
