Very borderline, C-/D+. Stay elsewhere...

Liked: Very little. First, my wife’s inspection of the bedding, specifically looking between the mattress and the box spring, yielded one live bed bug. Horrified, she obtained a piece of tape from the front desk and trapped the bug so she could show the front desk staff. She did so and he replied quickly, that he’d “take care of that.” He switched us to a different room, which while basically clean, did not approach the typical standard of Hampton Inns or Hilton. But we accepted it because we had a dinner appointment. In addition, due to ongoing renovations, the main hall carpeting was very dirty as if little effort was spent in straightening up after the end of the workday. And lastly, the outdoor pool, which was closed for the season, was mostly filled was some scummy water. Yuck! I’ve stayed at many Hampton Inns, mainly for their high standards of cleanliness, and this Inn was worse that a Super 8. It was nowhere near in value to the room rate, and we would have been no worse off staying at one and saving a $100.
Disliked: See above, starting with the bed bug. I would have expected a discount on the room or heaven forbid, a free night if we returned.

Poor

Liked: Too expensive for what was offered. Bed was hard as a rock, pillows were flat and breakfast was very disappointing.
Disliked: All of it.
