Staff at the front desk and valet are very polite and professional. The room was clean, with all expected amenities. The shower was nice and hot with great water pressure. The location definitely cannot be beaten, if you are attending a show at the Sixth and I. The only low point was the nasty bartender at the hotel, who started closing up and cleaning an hour before last call, and ignored everyone who came in between 10-10:30pm.

Disliked: The bartender inside the hotel on 11-8-2018 was very rude. We came back from our show around 10:05, and wanted to get a drink at the hotel bar before heading up to our room for the night. I stood at the bar for over 10 minutes, while a lady picked up candles off the tables around the restaurant. I had no idea, she was the bartender! She made eye contact with me 3 times and still ignored me while she packed up the tables. Finally around 10:20, she came over and said 'what do you want?' We ordered 2 easy drinks and took them over to a table. Five minutes later, she came over and snatched the candle off our table. Then, at 10:35, she came back by our table and screamed that it was last call, then looked at her watch and said 'well, last call in 9 minutes!'. We had no intention of staying later, but quickly finished our drinks and headed out. I've never felt more unwelcome by a bartender in my life. If the bar is open until 11p.m., she shouldn't have been shutting the whole place down at 10pm.

The overall stay was pleasant. The room was clean and the pool and bar area was very nice. But my A/C temperature wouldn't adjust and no one came to fix it. And the woman at the front desk was very rude.
Liked: The clean room.
Disliked: The woman at the front desk was making rude comments and my A/C didn't work.

Liked: Nice room, friendly staff, good location, good breakfast
Disliked: Valet parking. If I am spending a lot of money to stay in a hotel, I don't want to pay for parking on top of it. Plus, I want to be able to access my vehicle without relying on someone else.

Love this place!
Liked: Room was very clean and quiet. Staff was very friendly and greeted us each time we came back to the hotel. Breakfast was excellent and had a wide variety of options

Horrible!
Liked: None. We booked for 2 nights but didn’t get to stay as due to a flight cancellation we didn’t make it to check in on day 1. Checking in for the second night we were turned away saying our stay has been cancelled. We had to find a hotel that night somewhere else.
Disliked: Very bad customer service. Didn’t even allow my husband to use the toilet ( he has prostate issues) just because we haven’t checked in.

Good location but complicated
Liked: The people at the breakfast and the guards at the entrance and on receptionist were nice and really trying to help.
Disliked: Two receptionist were very unpleasant and didn’t seem to want to help us find a solution.

Disliked: The staff of this place is HORRIBLE!!!!! I don't understand why he can still keep his job when the economy is in such a terrible state. I asked for a bottle of water, and the front desk guy yelled NO to my face as if I owed him a million dollars. I later called to ask for a receipt. They made me wait for 30 minutes and refused again with the best attitude imaginable. I have been using booking.com for over 10 years now. It is the first time that I am so angry that I want to write a negative review.
