Bittersweet. Wish we could have...

Liked: The hotel and room seemed pretty clean. Breakfast is good (especially the make your own waffles). Great location, right on the beach, close to Neptune. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash/lotion provided.
Disliked: While shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided, the shampoo and body wash were both empty in our room when we checked in. Also the tissue box was empty, with one tissue decoratively stuffed into the box, and the toilet paper was almost gone, and the end of it was laying on the floor. When we called the front desk to inquire about the shampoo and body wash, they woman was very rude to my mom. She said that she was stressed because she was working a double shift and so many guests had so many needs, specifically for towels. It took over 45 minutes for someone to knock on the door and just leave the bottles of wash and shampoo at the door. I called to inform the front desk that we would be leaving very early in the morning, did I need to do anything to check out? They said I should just let the overnight desk staff know. She then called back to check and see if we had ever gotten the shampoo. I had been sent a copy of our bill, and it didn’t make any sense, so I went down to speak with someone to get things straightened out. I had booked the room with a credit card, which I was told would not be charged until we got there, but it was charged the day before. I asked if that card could be refunded, as I wanted to pay with my bank card. They said no problem, the original charge would be refunded and the other card would be charged. In my c ase banking app I was charged 3 times for our stay. Once on my bank card, and twice on my credit card, no refund. The front desk said that no I was only charged once and also refunded on their end, to look at the receipt which still makes no sense. We checked out on Monday morning, on Wednesday one of the 3 charges “fell off” it’s pending status on my credit card, but as of Thursday I still had a processed charge on my bank card AND a processed charge on my credit card. I called and spoke to the hotel, they told me I was only charged one time, while my bank records show a different story.

Disliked: Had to pay to park on the premises. Staff serving breakfast was very rude and not helpful. Asked for extra towels and washcloth and it took a while to get them
