It was okay but wasn’t...

Liked: I liked the location of the hotel. I came for a graduation at Troy University and it wasn’t far from the college. It was quiet at night during sleep hours and that’s always important when traveling and staying at hotels.
Disliked: I didn’t like that the elevator was down. The lady at the front said it was down for two weeks and I think that’s unacceptable when people in coming in and out of town. I saw a lot of older couples having to carry their luggage up the stairs. I also didn’t like that the pool was very dirty, my son wanted to swim but I told him it wanted to safe to swim in a pool that wasn’t clean.

Liked: The breakfast was good and offered good choices. Would like to see more fresh fruit. The staff was courteous and helpful. She kept the breakfast bar and condiments stocked.
Disliked: The elevator was out of order. Had to climb 3 flights of stairs with baggage and a small infant. the room smelled musty or dank. The furniture in room 325 had damage and, in the lobby the tabletop chairs seemed worn. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable.

Liked: I didn't get a ground floor medically accessible room as I was assured I would when I called the hotel to verify my reservation and request. Instead I had to take a 3rd floor room.
Disliked: I got the two backwards. I loved the cleanliness of the room and the hotel in general. I didn't like the luggage carriers as they are no good for small items. And when I went to get one at 5 a.m. they were all gone.

Not your best Hampton

Liked: It's location was close to the highway. The breakfast was good.
Disliked: This is not the Hampton quality I am familiar with.I have always chosen Hampton for it's reliability.This location needs a remodel in my opinion.Bathroom not very clean.
