Restful escape loop

Liked: The quiet location, great rooms, helpful and pleasant staff, and the swimming pool was a nice escape. Like the water stands and especially the code bar.
Disliked: Soda machine was out of a favorite drink....

A lot of money for...

Liked: It was all pretty average. A good shower I suppose.
Disliked: The room was as bare as a jail cell, the bathroom door squeaked, the desk chair thumped and squeaked, the breakfast bacon was swimming in grease, the eggs were cold, and for this price you'd think the tv would have streaming apps.

Superb

Liked: Great location. The bathtub was a little worn and the shower head needs replacing. The breakfast was pretty good but not quite fresh. Usually, I love Hampton Inn's but was a little disappointed as it wasn't inexpensive to book.

Welcoming and Friendly Staff

Liked: The staff was very welcoming and friendly. From the Front Desk, to the Breakfast Host to Maintenance and Housekeeping. Everyone was wonderful.
Disliked: Everything was fine.

Exceptional

Liked: I didn’t get to try the breakfast
Disliked: I had booked and paid for this stay in January of 2025 through booking.com. Upon my arrival the front desk informed me that their system is showing that my room is paid in full but that payment from booking.com to the hotel wasn’t completed. I was told I will be given my room key and they would sort it out. They asked for my credit card and was told it was for incidentals. Upon checking out I noticed I was charged full price for the stay again on my credit card. I called the front desk and was told they couldn’t get in touch with booking.com to get payment so in order to close my bill I was charged for the stay. I was told to contact booking.com to resolve the issue myself. I didn’t think this was right….now I’m out an additional $200 and will be inconvenienced to resolve the issue myself. Not cool!
