Recommend top notch staff

Liked: This is a great hotel and the crew that run it are very friendly and hard working people especially Travis and his front desk staff
Disliked: The toilet handle gave but was easy enough to fix

Liked: Recommended to stay when visiting Bronx zoo or the botanical garden.

Clean, comfortable hotel near work...

Liked: Clean room (despite odor) and afternoon cookies were appreciated after a long day. Location great for work appointment and breakfast included makes the stay very enjoyable.
Disliked: Could not use the pool without a staff member supervising. Awkward to have staff babysitting adults using pool. No spa/hot tub in pool area. Machines in gym broken. Peloton not connected to internet and treadmills overheated after 10 minutes. Strange odor in room musky/chemical smell. Bathroom sliding door did not close. Given the handicap accessible room (not needed) that had a sliding door without latch or lock to close. Had to use string to tie closed for privacy. On our last day for check out the elevator was not working, so we needed to carry all our things down stairs. Broken glass at front door, covered by cardboard. This hotel has good staff keeping it running but it needs some attention from management.

Liked: nice staff, clean area and room, quite, comfy beds, great swimming pool and fitness room, always coffee and tea, good breakfast
Disliked: one elevator didn't work

Disliked: Room wasn’t clean when I checked in I asked the cleaner to re vacuum and remove the trash Bed was too soft for my back - it’s a preference so I don’t worry about it But the room above me constantly made noice. I called reception about it - staff were apologized right away but unfortunately continue to disturb me enough to can’t fall asleep when I wantedBreakfast was good. Room was rommie Bathroom is nice too.

Liked: Breakfast and location, pool security, you need to be let in. Free parking and how you can get toothbrush, toothpaste, and other necessities if you forgot.
Disliked: Front desk services I complained about something and was told this is a 2-star hotel. Broken bathroom door, expired chips to purchase in the lobby. Found centipede in pool which we took out ourselves they didn't know where the net was. No lifeguard, lots of kids being disruptive overnight. We stayed because we just needed a place to sleep didn't spend too much time in the hotel. We chose this place because prepandemic it was way better, a lot has changed including the staff.

Great clean place to stay...
