Disappointing stay- no fun allowed...

Liked: The property was in a good location with plenty of restaurants and quick shopping around it- Walmart, Target, etc.
Disliked: We were traveling with a softball team for a tournament and the pool was closed the day we arrived on July 2 and remained closed until the 5th- the day the team checked out. A little suspicious that it was closed because they didn’t want the girls using the pool- which is ridiculous after they played several hours in the sun. Coincidence that they reopened it on a Saturday when we were told the chemicals were not right while the team was there, but able to get pool service on a holiday weekend. We stayed an extra night so we’re able to witness that the pool was opened the day the majority of team checked out. In lieu of the pool, the team and parents spent some time on the patio a few nights and asked for the fire pit to be lit but were told the lighter was in the manager’s office and could not get to it. So they took all hotel entertaining options away when the team raked in thousands of dollars for them. Last but certainly not least, the room smelled like wet cigarettes with the AC going.
