Hampton Inn By Hilton & Suites Tulsa Downtown Ok

Very good

Liked: Being downtown insures a wonderful night time background while taking a stroll, as apposed to the in town background of nodding out individuals and their tents surrounded by trash that dot the entire city some more than others. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Parking was no issue either.
Disliked: Someone thought it would be a great idea to hang barn door style doors that are just a smidge small for the opening of the bathroom making it almost irresistible for my 3 year old to constantly harass me while I'm in it. The toilet hardware needed to be replaced and when we informed the staff they brought us a plunger and walked off which did nothing because it wasn't clogged.

Liked: pool. room was nice. sink fixture was loose.
Disliked: A/C was out in the lobby. parking was VERY LIMITED. we had to park in the parking garage next door and got CHARGED for it. Sink fixture was LOOSE in our room. hallway had a FUNK in it on our end. the breakfast room was HOT due to the east windows and the sun. there was no attempt by the staff to cover these up to limit THE SUN HEATING UP THE ENTIRE LOBBY. No recognizing us as Hilton Awards members. No explanation of breakfast or the card key use in the elevator; we had to go back tot he desk and ask. THE BED SUCKED. Worst Hampton BED I ever slept on. I choose Hampton Inn partly for the BED because they have wonderful beds. this one was so hard, almost as hard as the floor.

Exceptional

Liked: We were traveling for a surgical procedure, and this hotel was right across the street for the center. It made our apprehensions about time and availability disappear.
