I would definitely stay there...

Liked: Location was easy to get to and easy to access in/out. Breakfast was adequate and included the basics found at other hotels. Lobby area was clean and inviting and the desk staff was very friendly.
Disliked: The room, although comfortable and roomy, was a bit "old." The bathrooms could use an update but they were adequate.

Jewel in Topsail

Liked: Everything thing was exceptional here! We were treated excellent by staff here! The room was incredible, beds were perfect, room/bathroom was clean and above our standards. The pool was well maintained and perfect for us!!!
Disliked: We loved it all.

Overall, we had a pleasant...

Liked: Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Proximity to Top Sail was very convenient. Oh the cookies in the late afternoon is one of my favorite things The Hampton Inn provides that other hotels never do.!!! My favorite Oatmeal. Decent breakfast - eggs, different meat each day, and of course other items to choose from like cereal, toast, oatmeal etc.
Disliked: Room service was not done in our room. Maybe we didn't put the sign up on the door knob, but still I have never seen this happen in other hotels that are from a decent chain. Usually, they will knock if we don't have the sign up. Afterall, we were there for 4 days with only 2 large towels provided and we went to the beach each day. If they are not going to give room service more towels should have been provided. The room was smaller than any Hampton Inn we have stayed in; therefore I gave the room an OK.

Liked: The location was perfect for dinner appointment we had.
Disliked: I left my bathroom toilettes behind. I called the hotel the next morning and it wasn't found. Disappointment that personal item was not turned in by cleaning service. The bag was personalized.
