Exceptional
Liked: The hotel was very clean. The beds were comfortable and the staff was great. I would highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast was really good and I love that they serve until 10 am.
Disliked: It was a great experience

Mediocre
Liked: Breakfast was okay. Hot food not very hot or tasty. Location was very easy to get too.
Disliked: Lack of information given at front desk or availability in the room to know where things were in the hotel.

Hotel refused to work with...
Liked: The rooms were clean and quiet.
Disliked: Upon arrival it was evident that the staff did not care for customers that used a third party agency for bookings. The staff refused to update our room to a disabled accessible room and stated it would require more money. We thought this was wrong but agreed to pay the extra funds, to which the staff replied they could not change any reservation done through a third party. I have had two total knee replacement surgeries within the last 18 months and have not regained full range of motion in either leg therefore, I have to use an ADA approved toilet or a toilet riser and can not lift my legs high enough to get into a tub/shower combination. Therefore my basic living needs were not met during this stay. (I had to go to Lowe's to get a toilet riser (Yes, this is a dignity issue) to use the toilet, and could not shower while there.) We will never stay with Hampton again. I am so upset with them I am on the verge of reporting them to State of Iowa 661—302.1(103A,104A) Purpose and scope. Rules 661—302.1(103A,104A) through 661—302.20(103A,104A) are intended to ensure that buildings and facilities used by the public are accessible to, and functional for, persons with disabilities. 1) To resolve this issue this company needs to provide customer service training for its employees and be posted while on duty that said person completed training in a satisfactory manner, much like a certificate. 2) Posted rules regarding ADA and services provided to persons with disabilities. (a sign stating that services dogs are welcome it not enough) 3) If the Company does not support the use of third party agencies such as Booking.com, Priceline.com or others. DO NOT USE THEM! We are not third class citizens because we use them, so do not treat use like we are!

Liked: CleanComfortable bed and able to provide adjoining rooms so we could care for elderly parent.
Disliked: Lighting awful, no interior design, cold uncomfortable harsh feeling rooms, mediocre breakfast.
