Highly recommend, great value, one...

Liked: Clean, comfortable, rooms are as described and spacious. Ice making machine, heated pool, coffee available at all hours in the hotel lobby area. Hotel is walking distance to restaurants, pier, beach, amenities and shops. I recommend this hotel its exceptionally good value. Also 25min drive from Airport (not in rush hour!)
Disliked: Great buffet, add a few more items please. Homeless people near by but its an LA problem.

Great if you're looking for...

Liked: I like the close walking proximity to the beach, metro/bus stations, and plenty of restaurants. The pool area was also very nice but the hot tup was pretty small and usually had someone in it.
Disliked: I had my do not disturb door thing on most days, but one day i did purposefully leave it off so the room could be cleaned, but they never stopped by. The room was relatively clean when I checked in, but the floor was not. It desperately needed to be mopped. I understand they have a lot of rooms to clean, so I can see how my room was forgotten when I wanted it cleaned, but I didn't even want to walk on the floor with just socks or bare feet even. Most of the staff was lovely, especially any of the woman working the front desk at night, but when I checked in I was met with a slight attitude from the man working. I'm sure he had been working all night, but not fun for me necessarily. I got there that morning and my room wasn't ready so I had to leave my bags with valet, but I had a large hat separate from my suitcase that they said I couldn't leave with my suitcase because they couldn't guarantee it would make it back safe so I asked the front desk and he kinda acted like it was an inconvenience to hold my hat in the office until I could check in. Saying something like "I'm pretty sure it will be the only cowboy hat back there," when I asked if he needed my name or reservation confirmation since the single item seemed to be an issue with the valet. They seemed to be housing a work crew of some sort, potentially for fire cleanup or relief, which is great, but left me without a room for my first 8 hours in LA and there was only a very tiny bathroom to refresh in that was pretty run down. I'm lucky no on needed the handicap stall for the 20 mins I needed to get ready.My biggest complaint: There is no fresh air after 10pm when the pool closes. You can't even just sit out there, which I understand for some reasons. My rooms window didn't open at all or have a slit like most US hotels do at least.

Disliked: No kettle available. Not everyone drinks coffee. No change machine in n the laundry.
