Hampton Inn By Hilton & Suites Owensboro Downtown/Riverside

I chose this Hampton Inn because it was very near the River Park Center. As it turned out, it was an easy walk to attend a concert. The hotel was very accommodating and the room was very comfortable and clean. The Hampton Inn rarely disappoints and this was no exception. We had a delightful experience capped with a delicious, leisurely breakfast.

Hampton Inn at River Park in Owensboro, KY is a safe bet if you need a place to stay. Very clean, ample parking, reasonable rates, and a helpful staff makes this an excellent, no worry stay!

Liked: Room was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast food was exceptional with a very nice area to sit and enjoy breakfast with a view of the river. Coffee was always available.
Disliked: I can't say anything bad. I was very impressed!

Liked: I always love coming here!!! My kids love swimming here.. The staff is always perfect 😁
Disliked: No issues with anything only the button for the timer on the hot tub was broken so we couldn't get any bubbles out of the hot tub other than that small issue absolutely perfect

Best hotel option for Romp...

Liked: Location is the best for ROMP; breakfast, pool and room were the runners up.

Great hotel all around

Liked: We really enjoyed the hot breakfast. There was such a selection and staff available to help restock. A staff member overheard my daughter ask if the apples were washed. She graciously asked if she could wash it for my daughter to ease her wonder. We enjoyed the pool at the hotel as well. I purposely chose a hotel with a spacious pool. Both our children couldn't wait to go swimming each day. The location of the hotel to Riverwalk was very convenient. We were able to get to Smothers park so easily.
Disliked: No complaints

Will definitely stay again

Liked: Location on the water front. Has the festival right behind the hotel. And the next day was able to walk down to smothers park with my kids

Clean hotel and location is...

Liked: Cleanliness and location!
Disliked: Staff was not friendly at all. And the stove was “broke” so no hot items for breakfast. Which was no big deal but when my husband asked the staff they were very rude about it. The lady that checked us in never cracked a smile, wouldn’t make eye contact and kept looking at her phone. And it wasn’t just the one lady. Every time we left or came back, both front desk members had frowns on their faces, never acknowledged anyone going in or out, and were on their phones.

LOCATION IS GREAT ON THE...

Liked: BREAKFAST WAS GREAT! STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND THE AREA WAS CLEAN. SEVERAL OPTIONS WERE GIVEN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY.
Disliked: POOL WAS A BIT CROWED AND LOUD.

It was fine

Liked: The lobby was nice, good breakfast, nice location by the river.
Disliked: Cracks in sink, couldn’t close the curtains, and the pillows/bed were super hard.

Liked: Impressed by the cleanliness of the room. Nice little balcony, breakfast was delicious! Staff was very friendly and most important to us, the bed was super comfy! Definitely recommend!
Disliked: There was nothing we were unhappy with!
