It was a barely okay...

Liked: The room was clean. The breakfast was good and coffee surprisingly GREAT. The coffee was actually the best part of my stay.
Disliked: The rooms need upgrades. The elevator floor had broken tiles and the bottom edges of wall covering in the elevator was chipped off/broken. Definitely not a good first impression. The rooms need an upgrade. There was NO guide on the tv remote controls which was extremely frustrating in searching for what to watch. TV’s were very small. Barn door bathroom/closet was awful and there were NO DRAWERS in the room. That was definitely not acceptable. The carpets didn’t appear the cleanest and curtain panels were super wrinkled. A few fixes and upgrades can make this experience easily go from a 4 to a 7. Also not a good look when you enter the hotel and the check-in staff have badges with handwritten badges with markers. It was somewhat grade school looking. First impressions are really important. The staff was very friendly though.

Ok, but disappointing

Liked: It was in a location that was helpful for my wife.
Disliked: For the price we paid I was disappointed. Internet speeds were throttled, service was inconsistent. I expected more for the price we were paying.

Disliked: The gym is not open 24 hours. The gym is open too late at 6am. Not convenient for business travelers. I recommend the gym open 24 hours since it’s based on a timer and not attended by a person.

Liked: All goood, room was quiet facing the back of property, mattress was a bit hard for me. I always enjoy staying at Hampton Inn.

Love the pool.

Liked: All processed sweet food.
Disliked: I need a duvet cover! And the breakfast can be better.
