Right from the start, the staff were friendly and helpful. Cookies await you at check-in. We needed regular coffee, not decaf and they brought some to our room along with a shower cap. Upon check out they kept our luggage so we would not have it in our car while we finished up our day before heading home. Beautiful walk to Dr. Pepper Center for an event. Breakfast was good and they had everything you could ever want: eggs, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, fresh fruit, waffles...

Could have been great -...
Liked: Location, front desk agent upon check-in, smooth check-in
Disliked: Key Concerns1. The fraudulent call originated via my in-room hotel phone line.2. The caller had accurate guest details (room number, check-out date, last four digits of my card).3. This incident occurred inside the hotel, where guests should feel safe and secure4. One of the managers kept on repeating that she has no idea how this incident happened; and placed the blame to booking.com (offered no reassurance, apology or solution).Summary:On 12 August 2025 at approximately 1:15 PM, while staying in Room 311 at Hampton Inn & Suites 3199 Parkwood Boulevard, Frisco,TX 75034, I received a call on my in-room landline. The caller identified himself as the General Manager of the hotel and claimed that here had been a “system wipeout.” He correctly stated that I was checking out the next day, offered a late check-out, and mentioned the last four digits of my payment card.He then requested the full card number “to verify it,” stating it was required due to the alleged system issue. Given that the call came through my in-room hotel phone, from someone who appeared to have accurate guest and payment details, I trusted the source and provided the number.Shortly after the call ended, I felt uneasy and called the hotel operator to verify. The operator informed me that neither they nor any hotel staff had called me, and that standard procedure would require a guest to come to the front desk for such matters.Fraudulent TransactionsWithin a short time, my payment card was used for the following unauthorized transactions:1. NIC FDC Correctpay Brentwood – USD 311.90 (processed twice) – Total USD 623.802. Pizza Hut 004785 Lawrenceville US – AED 464.23 (two attempted charges, which my bank blocked)Due to these fraudulent charges, my bank has deactivated the payment card used for my stay.

Superb
Liked: The room was spacious and comfortable. I traveled with my dog, so the location next to the park was great! The hotel was also close to shopping and restaurants, which was convenient.

Good
Liked: I loved the breakfast buffet
Disliked: My room had a loud, squeaky a/c unit that kept us from having the best night's sleep but other than that, our room was very comfortable.

Won't stay there again
Disliked: Elevators went down, the door to the room required pushing with my shoulder to enter the room, and the access door at the rear to the parking lot broke down
