Liked: Location was perfect for our stay. Breakfast was simple but there were various types of breakfast fare. The breakfast area was clean and well attended.
Disliked: We would have been happier had there been a self parking option rather than requiring guests to pay a $10 or $20 valet fee.

Liked: The building itself has a strikingly refurbished interior with a lot of multi floor windows so that the lobby is visible from the 3rd floor...more exspansive and safer because there's no closed long hallways...you can see downstairs to the front desk from the 3rd floor. Gratis and very nice breakfast buffet w fritattas and sausages as well as fruit n cereals. Tea and coffee on each floor 24 hours & ice machines on each floor (I'm obsessed w ice). The staff helped me when I had a reserving issue. The rooms are huge and clean w a true STocK of clean white towels, as well as plenty of hooks upon which to hang them. Huntington w its clubs, all manner of restaurants, art galleries, a cinema and live performance theater, multiple clothiers and massage or nail spas and toy stores...even a palm reader, are all within easy walking distance. If you really need to, there's a grocery within about 8 minutes of a walk. The town square is vibrant w people in the summer, even on a Wednesday. A woman alone will feel safer in general....still, keep watch out, but it's all quite nice! The bathtub/shower also has a handheld sprayer, which is super helpful...the bathroom is huge. All quite clean & new feeling.
Disliked: They need better outside lighting. I didn't love the down pillows, but I bet if I'd thought to ask, I could've gotten foam.

Liked: Location . Easy free parking. Staff great. Except at check-in when we were refused bottled water as Hilton members. After our flight we needed a refresher. No water in lobby - just for tea.
Disliked: We could hear people in halls, nextdoor (adjoining room though so can be avoided) and walking upstairs.
