Disliked: Pricey in my opinion, for a pretty basic room.

Liked: Close to things, safe, clean, very friendly and efficient staff. Wonderful lobby and bar area. Very comfortable and love the complimentary hot cocoa and cookies.Showers are great!
Disliked: Our bed was lower at the head. Usually it’s fine.

Great location & breakfast, but...

Liked: The location of this hotel is a real gem! Being so close to Grand Valley State and within walking distance of a vibrant neighborhood with excellent dining and shopping options made our stay incredibly enjoyable. The breakfast was also a pleasant surprise, offering a diverse and tasty selection. Plus, the clean lobby was a nice touch.
Disliked: For a hotel of this size, the elevator situation was unacceptable. One elevator was out of service for our entire stay, leading to significant delays and frustration. To make matters worse, our room had an overpowering smell of stale cigarette smoke, so strong that it caused both my husband and me to wake up with sore throats and congestion. Attention to detail was clearly lacking – the tissue box contained a mere three tissues. The shower was another disappointment, with low water pressure and only half of the showerhead settings functioning. Finally, the love seat in our room was broken, adding to the overall feeling of neglect. Considering the price we paid, this experience was deeply disappointing and fell far short of our expectations. We won't be returning.

Liked: Really enjoyed the quiet surroundings allowing us to rest at night. The proximity of things to do was so convenient as well!
Disliked: One elevator was broken and wait times were a little long but not bad at all.
