Liked: Great location for food, supplies and the beach. Just about 400 foot walk to the beach. 100 yard walk to Walmart for food and supplies.For the last 7 years when we travel to Galveston, this is our go to hotel for the reasons above!
Disliked: Bed was very uncomfortable, but I was able to sleep. Just a personal, I'm used to sleeping with a ceiling fan and it looked as those the fan had been removed instead of replaced. Last and not the hotels fault, the property lost power about 930pm and returned about 3am. A little uncomfortable but again out of their control.

Disliked: Our room smelled like mildew. The shower was not clean. The hotel lost power for over 5 hours so we didn't get any sleep.

Liked: Beach is not too far to walk
Disliked: Not enough elevators (it is a long wait all day and night), rooms are small, views are lame, pool is small.

Terrible.

Liked: How close it was to the beach.
Disliked: The room itself was filthy. Hair in the tub. Debri on the carpet. Stains that were able to be wiped away on the toilet. Asked the staff to clean the room and add extra towels. Only added 2 towels and did not clean the mess. This was upon checking in. Also the door to our room would not lock. That was found out after the fact of us checking in and leaving our belongings. Instead of a refund i was offered a tiny bottle of $6 wine that I declined.
