Hampton Inn By Hilton & Suites Gainesville-Downtown

Not a bad place to stay.

Liked: Fluffy pilllows; breakfast; convenient to venue.
Disliked: Nothing terrible; beds were a little hard; counter person at check in didn't seem very happy to be there, but nothing to tell people not to stay there.

Nice, quick and friendly staff.

Liked: It had more variety (eggs, sausage, cereal, fruit, pastries) than expected.
Disliked: Wish they had cottage cheese and more fruit.

Nice location but mediocre comfort...

Liked: I liked the size of the room and the location was in a cute area.There was a gentleman at the front desk the evening we checked in that was welcoming and friendly.
Disliked: The bed was very hard, it was too warm in the room and the sheets were rough. The breakfast had a good selection but the floors and tables in the breakfast room were really sticky. Not overall the standard that I would expect from a Hampton Hotel.

Disliked: The parking garage was sketchy and full of trash. The walk way to the garage was full of homeless and the grass was knee high. The pool we did not let the girls in as there was gray foam floating all around pool. Trash just all out front. Dirty!!!!
