Nice hotel conveniently located by Des Moines Civic Center, etc.

Liked: The room was nice and the breakfast had a nice variety.
Disliked: The pool. The chlorine was too high and complaints were ignored.

Safe and cozy

Liked: I loved the beds! The pillows were fluffy and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is a good size and the view of the river was really nice. Breakfast was good as was the coffee. I felt safe and comfortable.

Liked: Many good foods for breakfast. Great location to see fireworks, attend baseball game,science museum,and farm market. All in walking distance.

Nice place to see ball...

Liked: Close to ball field and restaurants.
Disliked: Initially given a king having reserved a two queen room and told “that’s a third party reservation problem” but we insisted on what we booked and they were able to find the two queen room. Not sure what’s going on with their booking.com reservations.
