Worst experience ever

Disliked: The reservation said no credit card needed, pay at the hotel, we booked 2 rooms and they cancelled my reservations without so much as a phone call. I received an email at 5:30 on Friday evening telling me my reservation is cancelled. I was already heading out. We called the hotel and they stated Bookings policy is different from theirs and they require a card on file and since there wasn't one they cancelled our reservation. The hotel rep we spoke to was a very rude and disrespectful woman who then had the audacity to tell me and my wife that there's a motel 6 across the street we can stay at. Based on the reviews I have seen it looks like we dodged a bullet. I do not recommend staying at this disrespectful hotel in corpus Christi, there are so many better options, try the best Western on Corpus Christi beach.

Liked: The property is clean from outside to inside. The rooms are professionally completed as all inside is touched and delivered clean. The a/c was at a perfect setting from arrival to the next day.
Disliked: The beds need to be replaced. We stayed here last year for a solid week from 6/16-6/22/2024 and the beds somewhat not the best. This time we stayed for here for two days and we felt the same bumps on the mattress. Hmmm! This needs to be looked at.

Liked: Comfy beds and an excellent breakfast, and the suite was very roomy.
Disliked: Room kind of smelled musty. Floors were constantly wet due to the humidity in the room.

Unexpected issue at check in

Liked: Got to location and staff member could not find my reservation
Disliked: Not knowing if I was going to get my room even though it had already been paid

Would definitely stay here again....

Liked: Breakfast was delicious. The friendliness of the staff was wonderful.
Disliked: Wish the commode had a grab bar for us joint impaired.
