Hampton Inn Columbus OH

Liked: The room was clean and the hotel location was convenient.
Disliked: It took over 3 minutes to get hot water out of the top.The bill was inaccurate. A $25 charge was added and not communicated to us.The hotel lobby was overcrowded with college athletes and their golf equipment. It was almost impossible to navigate.

Disliked: Devices charging was connected to a mystery wall switch that had to be on along with room light. And even after replacing the remote for the TV, could not turn the TV on. Plus the WiFi took forever to connect, had to get help from staff.

Liked: Was centrally located to areas i was visitingNot a big fan of turkey sausage but no big deal just a personal preference
Disliked: Asked front desk clerk to have conditioner refilled in shower dont know if it was done because it still didnt work, could have been a broken canister I did like having the canisters much better than those little bottles.

Good

Liked: Great location, clean, comfortable, and a better hot breakfast than most hotels. The tv had a nice, sharp picture and pool was also a nice temperature and not freezing cold.
Disliked: There was no microwave to reheat food, and I felt it was overpriced for a Monday night.

Liked: Very quiet and clean. Nice part of town.
Disliked: Desk chair not real comfortable. Shower curtain to short. Had to adjust it to keep water from running all over floor.

Not for light sleepers

Liked: Location was great and it was clean.
Disliked: You could hear every noise throughout the hotel at night. We were not even near the elevators but we heard them loud and clear. Doors opening and closing in the hallway. The door was closed but the light from the hallway was coming in through the gaps so I'm not sure if that's why the noise was so bad but it kept us up all night. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable and thin with rust stains on the mattress. We travel alot and it's not very often I leave a review like this. It may be the lack of sleep but I had to put it out there.
